ANZ Kosher Exports is led by Mendy Rimler, an experienced importer and distributor of kosher and specialty food products with a strong track record across multiple international markets.
Over the past decade, Mendy has successfully sourced and imported a wide range of products into Australia, including premium chocolates, gluten-free bakery items, kosher wines, dairy products, and temperature-sensitive goods. His experience spans suppliers across the United States, Europe, and beyond, with a focus on quality, logistics, and reliable supply.
Having worked extensively with both suppliers and distributors, Mendy identified a clear opportunity to introduce distinctive, high-quality Australian products into the U.S. market — combining strong product appeal with a deep understanding of distribution requirements.

Alpha Confectionery traces its origins back to the 1970s, when it was established in Melbourne by Mr. Zalmy Weiss together with his brother-in-law, Mr. Mottel Herszberg. Built on a foundation of quality and craftsmanship, the brand quickly became a household name within the Australian kosher community.
Over the decades, while ownership evolved, the commitment to maintaining the integrity and quality of the brand has remained constant. Today, Alpha is widely regarded as an iconic and timeless Australian chocolate — known for its distinctive products and strong gifting appeal.
